"I've finished this "rock" album (for the lack of a better genre description). You might have already heard a little about. It's titled Slump. I have signed a deal to release it through Camobear Records. You may know of me as a manually laboring, DIY artist, self releasing my projects and such - but Josh Martinez and the folks at Camobear are good people. I am happy to join camps with them, and I have been able to have my hands in all the decisions surrounding the album. Don't trip, I stay indie... "till the world blow up" (as the homie John Clark would say). Slump is still a ways out though, tentative release Oct./Nov. 2010. I plan to release another hip hop album (B4F) before then, so stay posted little homies... album announcement should be in the next email."
Chicharones Toke City Special
Chicharones and toking go together like melted marshmallows and popcorn. Perfect. We've been receiving avid support from our friends at TokeCity.com and to return the favor we thought we'd hook them up with a free "best of" stylized compilation. We're giving it away for free download at The Chicharones website and wouldn't want you to miss out on the action either. With the approaching release of a new Chicharones full-length take this chance to revisit the music you've come to love. They're heading out on a 6 week tour starting in July so check the calendar below to see if they'll be in your city. The website has also had a full-on makeover so gander at that as well.
‘The Best New Voice in Canadian rap’ (Exclaim!), Evil’s radio-perfect tones, dark humor and his catchiest choruses yet, showcase what a heavyweight songwriter he has become. This is by far his best record, and where Evil has taken the full reins of production and made generational songs that resonate with feeling and meaning. There are more radio bangers, underground classics, seminal jams and cinematic masterpieces per square meg on Evil Eye than anything I’ve heard in years. Evil Eye will surely bring Evil the attention he has been seeking since being the lead child actor in Spielberg classic, ET. Through his hard work, and that of cohorts Whalley Wonka, The Stuntman, Stuey Kubrick and Blair Massey, Evil Ebenzer is finally ready to blow. Guest appearances from Snak The Ripper, Josh Martinez, Young Sin and Brass Tackz

The inventive and creepy Stuey Kubrick has done it again, this time taking a video he directed "Underground Pop" and remixing not only the song but the video as well. This is hailed to be just as good if not better than the original. Pop that popcorn sit back and enjoy this psychadelic revisit of a great video and a classic piece of literature.
