One of Canada’s greatest rappers ever, the man known and loved as Governor Bolts (aka Mayor of the World, aka Pope Innocent the Worst) lived in East Vancouver in the early 2000’s. He would spend his time getting blotto with his best bud DJ Moves, who was playing with Canadian supergroup “LEN” at the time. They would make incredible, disturbing, traumatic and beautiful songs that were essentially complex Dr. Seuss tales about Nursing Homes, Mannequin Lust, Teen Wolves, Necrophilia and true love (ie LSD).
